The PRINCE2® Foundation qualification is designed to introduce you to the essentials of the PRINCE2® project management framework. The PRINCE2® Practitioner will build on this and give you an advanced understanding, along with the knowledge of how to apply it strategically to your own organisation.

Holding this qualification allows you to use the prestigious title 'PRINCE2® Practitioner', as well as developing your project management career, wowing employers and contributing to your career development.

You don't need anything to enrol on this course, apart from good literacy and numeracy skills. You also need to be over 18 years old. 

It'll take most students around 12 hours to complete the Foundation qualification and around 32 hours to complete the Practitioner qualification. 

However, everyone is different, so bear in mind this might change depending on your circumstances and how much time you have to study each week.

PRINCE2 qualifications at the Foundation and Practitioner levels are valid for 3 years after successfully passing your exam(s). You'll then be required to renew your certification which can be done by:

• Retaking the same exam(s): You can choose to renew your certification by re-taking your original exam(s) before the renewal date. 
• Taking further courses and certifications: You can renew your certification by attending another course and taking an exam within the same product suite before the renewal date.
• Collecting and logging CPD points.

For the Foundation qualification, you'll be assessed through a secure 60-minute online proctored exam. You'll answer 60 questions and need 33/60 correct to achieve the 55% pass mark.

For the Practitioner qualification, you'll be assessed through a 150-minute secure, online exam which is proctored. You'll answer 68 questions. Overall, you'll need to get 38 out of 68 answers correct to achieve the 55% pass mark.

You'll be able to look at your official PRINCE2 manual throughout the second exam.
